There is a misconception within the aerial work platform community that – #1.OLDER LEGACY aerial work platforms don’t meet current ANSI A92 Standards and should be replaced  and  #2.that Manuals, BOTH Operational USER Handbooks and Service Parts manuals are non-existent. This thinking is categorically wrong on BOTH COUNTS!

    1. All Previous Units built were built meeting ALL A92 Standards and are in-fact Grandfathered
    2. USER Operational Handbooks MANADATED to be “on-board” are in-fact AVAILABLE though Aerial Specialists
    3. Service and Parts manuals are also AVAILABLE on over 95% of units in the field

In light of a recent fatal accident at the University of Notre Dame, Aerial Specialists is offering ANSI mandated “original” factory operator handbooks supporting the complete US based aerial-access industry.

ANSI A92 standards clearly state that operator handbooks are required and must be available to the operator on each and every platform lift.  It has been observed in the field that Sales Reps are issuing  false information to consumers that their owned equipment is no longer in compliance and that the user should trade their paid for models in for newer, more “technically challenging” models.  Again, this information is incorrect and false!

While it is true that 95% of the US based aerial work platform industry has, in-fact, gone bust and is now defunct, knowledgeable technical support and factory authorized aerial lift parts are available through Aerial Specialists.
